Bio
Jenny Petite is a fine art and fashion photographer and graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design with a Masters in Fine Art Photography. Her oeuvre is raw, vulnerable and authentic while demonstrating artistic prowess and a deep understanding of art history. Her work reflects her uncanny humor, her passion for art history, pattern, texture and color and her genuine love for her children, family, friends, pets, herself and the world around her.
Jenny has several accomplished photographic series and has displayed her work in several exhibitions around the Nashville Area. She was awarded athletic, musical, women’s and artistic merit scholarships at all colleges and Universities, she has attended, awarded a position in the 2021 Nashville’s Periscope Artist Entrepeneur Program and a finalist in the 2009 PBR Art Competition. She writes her own art history blog, L’Original Ms. Petite. She is an accomplished songwriter and even received a handwritten accolade from Barbara Callahan, landscape photographer, Harry Callahan’s daughter for the song she wrote about Barbara’s dad and mom, titled, “Eleanor.”
